Shipping policy

Order Processing:

New York Shades aims to process all orders within 1–3 business days.

Cut-off Time: Orders placed before (GMT-05:00) Eastern Standard Time (New York) will be processed the same day; those placed after will be processed the next business day.

Please be aware that certain factors could influence processing times, such as incomplete payment, insufficient address information, or high demand during certain seasons. In these instances, New York Shades will reach out to customers via email before proceeding with the order to ensure a successful delivery.


Shipping Time:

Domestic shipping is estimated at 7–10 business days.
International shipping is estimated at 10–14 business days.
Premium shipping is estimated at 14–16 business days.

Domestic shipping applies only to the United States. International shipping applies to all other supported countries. Premium shipping is available exclusively for Puerto Rico. If your country is not available at checkout, delivery is not currently offered there.


Shipping Rates:

Domestic Shipping (United States): $7.99 (free shipping on orders above $150)

International Shipping: $9.99 (free shipping on orders above $100)

Premium Shipping: $19.99 (free shipping on orders above $100)

There are some factors affecting shipping that are beyond the control of New York Shades, including:

  • Weather conditions

  • Holiday seasons

  • Errors by the shipping company

Despite limited control over these variables, New York Shades will make every effort to keep customers informed using all available information.


Taxes and Duties:

Please note that placing an order does not cover any potential customs taxes or duties that your country may impose on incoming packages. It is the customer’s responsibility to handle these charges. For clarification on applicable rates, please contact your country’s customs office.

Important: New York Shades cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by the customs clearance process in the destination country. The timing of releasing your package rests solely with the customs authorities.


Order Cancellation:

If you wish to cancel an order after payment, please contact New York Shades at sales@newyorkshades.com or by phone at +1 (518) 807-0332. While every effort will be made to assist, cancellation cannot be guaranteed due to orders being quickly forwarded to the warehouse. If processing or shipping has already taken place, cancellation is no longer possible and a return must be initiated.


Broken, Wrong or Lost Packages:

In case of broken or faulty items, incorrect items, or lost packages, please contact new york shades immediately via sales@newyorkshades.com. The issue will be reviewed and handled as quickly as possible.
